I graduated from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Faculty of Law, in 1999 and was registered with the Athens Bar Association in 2001, after a two-year practice as a trainee lawyer assisting on court cases of civil litigation, property, and contract law.

Then, in September 2001, I joined Timagenis Law Firm, where I had the opportunity and pleasure to work closely with Mr. Gregory J. Timagenis, gaining extensive knowledge and valuable experience in high level legal practice. Most importantly, I learned how to effectively navigate novel and often complex legal issues.

My responsibilities included drafting court writs, contracts, and other legal documents; representing clients at court hearings; preparing for trials, including evaluating evidence provided by clients, preparing the supporting documents, drafting court affidavits, gathering and interpreting court precedent, guiding witnesses; formulating each case’s strategy; providing advice to clients; and conducting legal research. Through this experience, I honed my skills in problem-solving and gained a deep understanding of the complexities of legal practice.

In December 2011, I became Legal Consultant at Naftomar Shipping and Trading Ltd, where I specialized in various aspects of Greek law, particularly focusing on property law, contract law, commercial law, and labour law. My responsibilities included handling the company’s cases related to Greek law as well as personal legal cases of the owners and BoD members. During my tenure, my responsibilities included drafting and reviewing a wide range of contracts, conducting legal research on future property and other investments, managing their fulfillment, and negotiating with counterparties. Furthermore, I was appointed as Head of the HR Department in my final year with the company. This role allowed me to combine my legal knowledge with practical human resources management, overseeing recruitment, employee relations, and policy development.

Since the beginning of my career, in parallel with my collaboration with Naftomar Shipping and Trading and Timagenis Law Firm, I have handled a diverse range of court and out-of-court cases, both unique and commonplace, for a personal clientele. These cases fall within various areas of law, always within the field of civil law, allowing me to accumulate valuable experience.

Over the years, I have had the opportunity to delve deeply into my preferred area of law, which is property law, from various perspectives: representing plaintiffs before courts, consulting investors in real estate projects, participating in public and private auctions, negotiating on behalf of constructors utilizing the “antiparoxi” system, assisting heirs with tense relationships, supporting members of the Greek diaspora in managing ancestral property, facilitating residential property transactions for individuals, assisting co-owners in dividing shared properties, whether through negotiation or litigation, etc. Throughout my career, ensuring the satisfaction of my clients with the outcomes of their cases has been my primary goal and a source of professional fulfillment.
